Meetings is a facilitation instrument for people working together in the same physical room. A facilitator conducts from an iPhone; participants join from their browser or the Meetings app without an account.

Joining a room
Scan the facilitator’s QR code, open the shared link, or tap Join room in the Meetings app and enter the four- or five-letter room code. Check that the code matches the facilitator’s screen. Keep the participant screen open while the meeting is running.
Sound and synchronized zero
Tap Arm sound after joining and keep the device volume up. Browsers require a tap before they permit sound. Sound, vibration, and screen wake locks depend on the device, browser, volume, silent-mode, and power settings.
If sound is unavailable, the instruction and visual zero state still work.
Facilitator troubleshooting
- Confirm the facilitator iPhone has a working internet connection.
- Ask participants to keep the room page visible and reconnect from the QR code if necessary.
- Reopen the shared display setup if the projector loses its room.
- If the Live Activity is missing, confirm Live Activities are allowed for Meetings in the facilitator iPhone’s settings.
- Use the current instruction and local clock during a brief network interruption; clients recover from the latest complete room state.
Reporting a problem
Include:
- what you expected and what happened;
- whether you were facilitating, participating, or using the display;
- device model, operating-system version, and browser version;
- the approximate date, time, and timezone;
- the number of connected devices; and
- whether the problem occurred on Wi-Fi or cellular service.
Do not send meeting instructions, screenshots containing private meeting content, active room codes, QR codes, facilitator recovery secrets, or display setup strings.
